{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
I was wondering what you were using for your pictures. You prove it's not the number of megapixies, but the quality of the light and the eye of the photographer. I'm using: Tilt shift generator, Genius, Instagram (like Hipstamatic?), and sometimes Diptic. Less often, Lo-Mob, now that I have Genius.
I'm very captured by your eye and the wonderfully foreign light you have on the other side of the world.
Michael - Dammit! I'm going to have to try all those now! :) I would really love a great camera, but since it's not in the budget for now, I just do the best I can with what I have.
I know what you mean about the foreign light. I want to travel, so I can know what it feels like to be washed in that different light rather than just looking at it on a page or screen..
Sweet, sweet sweet! Visiting from SouleMama this morning!
ReplyDeletegreat shot, love the light!
ReplyDeleteAh, I love this one :) Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the lighting in this! Sweet picture!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely. Here is our moment: http://lacafetiere.blogspot.com/2011/04/this-moment.html
ReplyDeletewow, there is so much going on here. what a great shot! also gotta love the "keeping it real" aspect with bra hanging on doorknob. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely moment! :)
ReplyDeletemb - IMHO it's the bra that makes the photo. ;)
ReplyDeleteCats are like men. They do love, but they're not always great at showing it.
ReplyDeletePuppies, on the other hand, are more like children, displaying open and unconditional love. (Sometimes very boisterously.)
As for the photo - it's lovely. I especially love how her ever-loyal Turtle is grasped at her side, as she pines after Kitteh's love.
I love it! I have to say that the bra on the doorknob made it for me too!
ReplyDeletethe black and white really does it here, friend:) xoxoxox
